BA dice and how are they working for you?

I bought two sets because when I bought the last blood angels dice I got GW I never had enough dice.

I originally didn’t like the multiple colour dice idea but by turn 3 of the first game I played I had completely changed my mind and now love them.

The blood drop pips are easy enough to see and pick out tho slightly more difficult than standard.

The skull and blood angel symbols are really useful and I find them a good.

The one small negative I have is that the dice are a shiny/glossy and from certain angels where the light hits them they can be difficult to see.

When I saw em I originally intended to cancel my preorder.  Unfortunately my LGS ordered em before I could  so I ended up getting them.  They just came in on Friday, so I picked em up yesterday.  Rolled em and almost immediately loved the hand feel and the weight and the sound.

Thankfully, my LGS accidentally got another 2 sets in and I'm the only BA player we have.  Owner said we could work a deal out after christmas so I should end up with 3 total sets of em.  Super excited.  Absolutely love having different colored dice so I can say "Oh these are for X weapon and these are for Y weapon." and just roll em all.

When I first opened them I thought "i regret this..." but after playing a game with them i am sold on them.

Generally I am rerolling ones from captain aura and the skull icon makes the ones really easy to spot right away, and usually rolling a 6 turns out to be clutch, so I love seeing the BA logo on my rolls!

I like them. I have one set and plan to buy another.

They seem to roll even and the multiple colors are helpful if you need to keep track of different things (different weapons, victory points, etc)

My only complaint is that i wish the pips were all the same size and in their 'normal' spots (like the 4 having thier pips in the corners and in one uniform size)

This is exactly my thoughts - regretted initially, but then loved them after usage. The skulls and chapter symbols really help, and there is a nice mix of colours for rolling different weapons in CC.

I got two sets and I like 'em. Nice chunky, square dice - so much better for rolling than the more common smaller rounded edged ones. I got two packs and the 3 different colours are neat, I was using my gold dice for my Sanguinary Guard only :P Love that the skull is a 1 and the BA symbol a 6, the previous dice with the chapter symbol for a 1 was just odd.

As for rolling I can't really say with any strong feelings one way or another as I've only used them in one game. They felt like normal dice during that game, I didn't feel like they rolled particularly high or low more than you'd expect.

Hi,

Generally I am not a big fan of the GW faction dice. Dave @ Sprues & Brews has some UM dice and we really think they are awful :)

That said, we do have the new BA dice and they are very very nice. A nice weight to them, they roll well and I've found I get just as many 6's as I do 1's :).

I keep flip flopping on them tbh. I don't like how they are 10 bucks more than any other dice sets INCLUDING deathguard which has the weird rubbery stuff in them. But at the same time, i like me some collectible stuff. Even picked me up that rubbery BA suitcase tag thingy from years ago.

Definitely feel the itch. I've got 20 of the older rounded dice and they feel nice despite the confusing symbols.

It's kinda funny how they did a 180° on the Deathguard dice with the Blood Angels dice. The DG one are more for the vitrine and not really useable for gaming (imo) while the BA ones are way less flashy but feel extremely good for gaming. :D

I have them ... love them, it took some time to adjust, sometimes it was confusing. They have slight casino feeling since they have nice mass.

Bit out of topic...but... best dices I ever had are these ;

I got a little shock as i saw this dice. In germany it would not be prober to play with them. They symbol may be even illegal here (i don´t know if that special one is also banned) because of reasons :whistling:.
