Adepta Sororitas fluff is one of the defining elements of the Sisters as a faction, and one of the biggest reasons why I think most of us pick them! However, when/if we get a codex all to ourselves, it is likely or at least possible that lore and fluff changes. So the topic is:

What would you like to see? Or what do you expect to see?

The only "change" I'd like to see is the lore of the timeline progression:

  • The Adepta Sororitas views of Roboute Guilliman
  • The Adepta Sororitas adjustment to the politics of the Imperium under Roboute Guilliman (i.e., how the Eclesiarchy fares under Guilliman's Imperium)
  • The Adepta Sororitas roles and accomplishments of the Adepta Sororitas in the wars of the Dark Imperium and the Indomitus Crusade (or, if the Adepta Sororitas were excluded from the Indomitus Crusade, their own Crusades)
  • The impact of the Cicatrix Maledictum on the various orders and heroines of the Adepta Sororitas
  • Any new orders and/or heroines of the Adepta Sororitas rising in the new era

I'm not going to speculate on what any of these "changes" might be, however, other than to guess that the Ecclesiarchy has lost some influence under Guilliman and the Adepta Sororitas have suffered accordingly (and there is probably some toadying within the ranks of the Ecclesiarchy, sucking up to Roboute Guilliman by beginning to venerate him as a son of the Emperor and/or conferring some degree of authority upon him within the Ecclesiarchy).

I want....gw not to stuff it up... thats it. The last thing i want is all the sisters seeing rowboat as their liege lord and worshipping him. Im not going to go into my view of all this as thatll drag us off topic and put me in a seethingly bad mood.

Do the girls justice and give em the depth they deserve and have.

The return of Ephrael stern, hopefully with some deep truth from the black library (or new allies)

New saints based on ideals: retribution, sacrifice, etc. Distinct from the Martyred fore-mothers

A distancing from the current Ecclesiarchy in favor of a pre-bloody reign style of veneration to the emperor. (Closer to how things were on San Leor). Mostly to distance the sisters from the Ministorum for a myriad of reasons.

At least one passage where the sisters kick the ever-living snot out of black Templars/Grey Knights/Flesh tearers not for retribution or vengeance, but because they bloody well deserved it.

I'd like to see the Sisters be a bigger part of what went on in the wars of the Dark Imperium and the Indomitus Crusade, and not just in a participation way, but in a moving their story-line forward way. The Imperium has changed, Papa Smurf is back and there are Primarias Marines. How do the Sisters react to this? I would also really like to see some new revelation from the Emperor that gives the Sisters a renewed purpose, or something that Papa Smurf says that effects them deeply (either good or bad). Most all of I just want them to be important.

My moderate response: confirmation of greater numbers, the Ecclesiarchy's response to the Imperium Nihilus, more wars of faith in relation to the 13th Black Crusade and Indomitus Crusade.

My radical response: civil war against Great Pretender on Ultramar.

Fluff rationalising a handful of new kits. things like organic air support.

Sisters already drive an organ to battle, flying one around is the logical next step.

I don't want any change, because if it ain't broken, don't fix it. Or more specifically, I consider Games Workshop to be only slightly less inept than the studio that designed Mass Effect: Andromeda, so between atrocious change that would make even incompetent tweenager fanfiction writers shake their head in dismay and the status quo, I choose the status quo.

This for the most part. Far too many gaps regarding how the Ecclesiarchy and Sisters feel about events.

I find the Sisters trapped in the Imperium Nihilus, away from the main convents and new recruits, to be facinating, but I’d rather flesh that out myself than have GW do something with It.

All of Brother Tyler’s points are good. I want the Sisters to be portrayed still taking an active role in the Imperial Cult; I worry that they could be cast in a “pushed to the wayside by the new order” or “just bitter about stuff” role, which wouldn’t be particularly enjoyable for me. Basically I want the Sisters to still be doing their own thing of their own volition rather than just being reactive to Guilliman

I agree mostly with this, but there's a part of me that is intrigued by the notion of a 'fish out of water' story arc for the Sororitas (if done well).

I also think it's impossible for Guilliman to just brush aside the Adepta, considering Celestine had a hand in his resurrection and she also beat down Abbadon.

If anything that just reinforces the importance of the Sisters going forward (in my opinion)

A side note: I always feel bad for Papa Smurf, they want us to like him so bad lol
