Are Verlo
After reading their posts and discussing with my brothers here at B&C we reached an connclusion: It would be great to show what kind of terrain we usually use at our battlefields. Different metas have different terraintypes and the density of terrain will influence the playstyles favoured by us and our rivals/opponents. So I´ll take the plunge and show off the pics from my last game. The pics are before deployment and the terminator is used for comparison and give a reference to the size of the terrain pieces. First a dummy-test since I´ve never posted a picture on B&C before http://i64.tinypic.com/vp98aq.jpg You see the battlefied as a whole and the lone terminator in the middle. Are Verlo
Well this was the pics from last game. This is the amount/density of terrain we normally use. As you see, the buildings los-block termies easily and there are a few firing lines here and there, but you cant camp a gunline on one edge. There are plenty of terrain that would shield advancing units on their way to your table half. My gaming experience is based on the above and in my meta close combat is viable. I lose some men on the way in, but I´ve never had my entire army shot off the board before they connect in a meaningfull way. The games are intense and we all manouver to get the advantage. I lost this game vs a Salamanders list. He played well and I messed up deployment as well as underestimating the salamanders CT. Anyone else who wants to share some pics from their battlefields? Jønke
We use the cities of death building. Thats bloody horrible with the true los rule. Need to get cracking on some more solid stuff. Good looking terrain btw.
Are Verlo
Welcome to the jungle brothers. We had a new game this weekend and fought over some shrines on a jungle world. http://i65.tinypic.com/2cej8r8.jpg This shows the whole battlefield from my opponent´s side http://i63.tinypic.com/2467tac.jpg Size-comparison marine vs the jungle hill with the paved path. The hill is atleast twice the heiight of a marine with JP. http://i66.tinypic.com/30athna.jpg This is a marine next to one of the smaller jungle hills. http://i67.tinypic.com/23wwplf.jpg ..and a marine next to a ruined shrine. The last two shots will show the battlefield from both sides http://i68.tinypic.com/2eq5p35.jpg "his" side http://i65.tinypic.com/2vkhowg.jpg "my" side Remtek and robofish7591 2 Back to top
