I was wondering if you guys have run any of these in your matches and how many points those are because I have 4 Land Raider Crusaders and I was wondering if I would be worth it to make one?

I doubt a lot of people use them, since they're only for open play. Most people here are occupied using matched play.

The problem with the named Land Raiders is there is no reason to use them. They just slapped a heap of weapons on and called it a day.

 

Now if they had a rule that gives a benefit for the loadout, like re-rolling wounds when shooting more than one gun at a unit at the cost of running out of ammo (not shooting for the rest of the game) for too many 1's rolled to hit...then we'd be talking.

Why would they get rules like that when no other tank in the game does?

 

The reason for using them is to have a land raider with custom loadout.

And why didn’t they make the rules for the Land Raider Ares. At least give some validation for the existing data sheet, Please!

Solemnus Aggressor is a cool name and all, but it seems to me like you could save yourself some points and just throw hurricane bolters on a Stormmraven and have the same firepower and transport capacity on a faster platform. Edited December 25, 2017 by Syphid
