High elite army need opinions!

OK so i wanted to ask you guys about this list before i tried it out i wanted to go with a +3 invul army. and insights or tips to make it stronger without drastically changing or scrapping my army.

Hi Kethril. Before I comment on your list, i would like to advise that you take away all the points cost. I'm not sure of where the rules are, but I was told not to give details points cost on forums.

 

Now on to comment:

 

1) Your Wolf Lord seems to be on foot, who is he suppose to be following?

2) your terminator loadout is a bit schizo. Suggest you mix combi weapons and th/ss in both squads. Cyclone and Assault cannon are not accurate.

3) If you going terminator heavy, may as well take Logan Grimnar to make sure your combis HIT something, and with Arjac, WOUND something.

4) most of your stuff can deepstrike, what is the Land Raider for?

 

Also bear in mind that in matched play, you'll need half of your army on your board.

Wolf lord is for extra points on table and to just fight.

My issue is i cant find terminator combi weapons on any bit site.

i love the idea on logan i will get him now

Land raider is to help take our other vehicles fast so i can keep superiority

yea i know the deep strike issue. i have to pick and choose.

Yeah combi weapons for terminators are a big hassle to kitbash unless you buy from Forgeworld which does sell combi weapons for terminators, or use the chaos terminator ones.

A little advice on how I kitbash mine. Take plasma pistols, cut off the handles, then glue them to the side of the ordinary storm bolters.

 

For combi meltas, just saw off the melta barrel and replace/stick on the storm bolter barrel.

 

combi flamers i don't really use but principle is same, use a storm bolter, stick a part of the flamer on it and as long as you and your opponent can clearly see it's a flamer attached to a storm bolter, call it a combi weapon.

I don't know if I can approve any SW list that doesn't include Bjorn in it. Have him walk behind the LRC for protection. He gives out a lot of good things for his point cost.

While I do love Bjorn and think he is really crunchy, he is something one should build a list around, not supplement a list unlike a regular wolf lord or battle leader.

Bjorn is not always an auto-take, but I think once you get to 1500+ points, it's a rare case you won't. Handing out reroll 1s on to-hit AND  a free CP on top of a very capable ranged+melee model for 270pts (TLLC all the way) with T8 AND 5+ FnP puts him just under primarch status, IMO.

Bjorn is an auto take for me. There's not a list I can think of that wouldn't be better off with him in it than left out of it. Not to mention for pure fluff reasons it just feels so right to have the Fell Handed walking besides his brothers once again. For Russ!
