I intend on getting quite a few scout bikes for clearing chaff to allow for serious beta striking with the jumping heavy hitters like smashy-pants, death company, and/or vanguard vets. aluriel00 Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 Jump infantry has so many perks for BA - bikes were great last edition but from what I have seen even the mighty RW struggles now to be truly competitive. Company Vet Bikes with storm shields have 20” move and advance, T5, 2W and 3++ for 41 points. 4-8 shots with storm bolters or 2 attacks each with power swords. Take 3 for a 130 point screen I have more faith charging after movement than after dropping. Dice are rarely kind to me and i dont like to depend on them. BloodTzar Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 I think there might be some synergy in between jumpers going for back field and DC with DC captain on bike with SS trying to smash face from the opposite site.
