NightHowler
Nevermind. This has been debunked by the perpetrator of the rumor. Please disregard. Arentius
Was debunked on reddit, first the image has two different compression rates which means manipulation. Plus there are different resolutions (linking back to the compression rates) Second the Dainsleif and the 1h spear profile are identical except the Dainsleif always hits on a 2+ so why would the spear profile even exist? Sete
Btw when Russ returns will be be using the spear? What's the deal with his sword? Does Abbadon have it? (And put that stupid Daemon on it?) Dantay VI
Drach'nyen is not the sword Mjalnar and no he shouldn't have the spear, as it is believed to be in the shrine at Garm based upon the Ragnar books by Bill King and Lee Lightner Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/342846-leman-russ-as-demon-primarch/#findComment-4971252 Share on other sites
Sete
Any reason why they look similar then? Didn't know that about the spear. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/342846-leman-russ-as-demon-primarch/#findComment-4971517 Share on other sites
Guest
Hard to make a unique sword? They are both similiar but Mjalnar is straight bladed once you get past the spiky bits near the hilt. drachnyen is jagged all along the blade and has faces in the blade. They are way too similiar though I agree. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/342846-leman-russ-as-demon-primarch/#findComment-4971546 Share on other sites
Bulwyf
I know that rumor has been debunked but it would be helpful if GW would announce what primarchs were expected to return in 2018. Dantay VI
I believe Drach'nyen being a daemon weapon, can alter its appearance to what the bearer wishes it to be. Maybe Abaddon wishes he had a sword as cool as Russ' :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/342846-leman-russ-as-demon-primarch/#findComment-4972940 Share on other sites
Karhedron
I know that rumor has been debunked but it would be helpful if GW would announce what primarchs were expected to return in 2018. That particular hype train is not up to full steam (yet). Magnus and Mortarion were both released in the autumn a year apart. If GW do stick to a pattern with Primarchs then the next loyalist should come back around April time so I would not expect to see any info before about the end of February. For what it is worth, I do think Russ will be the next Primarch to return. All the Loyalist Chapters apart from Space Wolves have shiny new codices and it would be odd to release a Primarch just 6 months after the codex for the rest of the army came out. My hope is that Space Wolves will get their codex in about 3-4 months time with Russ returning to lead the Rout.
