MoGuy
Hey guys, So I am looking for bits like obelisks, statues etc to add to my bases. Neither Kromlech nor Spellcrow nor Tabletop Arts is selling any of those (they do have upgrade and conversion bits for TSons though). Do you know any third party shops or manufacturers that sell the appropriate bits? Carlson793
If you don't mind casting parts, Hirst Arts' Castle Molds (specifically his Egyptian molds) should do the trick. I had one of that set (Basic Block Mold #95) and they are detailed enough that, using a decent gypsum cement, the bricks come out feeling like they are made of sandstone. fisheyedbunny
Used to work for Scotia Grendel and we done some Egyptian stuff, unsure of the scale exactly in comparison to a current CSM as it was about 10 years ago. On my work PC at the moment so unable to link but it was part of the 28mm Historical Scenic range if I remember correctly. MoGuy
Thanks. I just bought some of the basing kits from Scibor. They look great on the pictures. I'll post pictures once they are on my minis bases. :) 1000 Sons 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343172-looking-for-egyptian-scenery/#findComment-4980495 Share on other sites

Quixus
Ferrero Rocher boxes. All the way. What makes them look particularly Egyptian? Aren't they just rounded cuboids? Quixus
Interesting, I have never seen those. A short image search only yielded various cuboids and cones. Xenith
Huh. Weird. You used to be able to buy pyramids of fererro rocher - my old GW used to make Necron terrain out of them. I guess health and safety got to them - no more points, just rounded corners Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343172-looking-for-egyptian-scenery/#findComment-4986619 Share on other sites
Tichinde
so far I have used: HC3d: http://www.horizoncreation3d.com/ Esceneorama (ancient ruins) http://escenorama.com/en and Dragonforge (occult -7, egypt and ancient ruins base sets to name a few) also the new (and old) Playmobil pyramid set should be good for the basis of larger terrain (got one to work on shortly) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343172-looking-for-egyptian-scenery/#findComment-4989904 Share on other sites
