I like the ones ones too, But I tought that if it was possible, It would have been cool to have a couple of the old style guns on shoulders mixed in with them. Exept the old models are bad and the metal guns refuse to stay on.. xD

My broadsides all use a modified heavy rail rifle, née rail gun mounted together on a single shoulder mount. There should be a picture or two in my Tau image gallery here, but I cannot link/find it via my phone.

Not exactly what the OP asked for, but it *is* a shoulder mount option, albeit using the old metal rail guns.

Thankfully I didn’t build them for anybody else. :-)

Edit: thanks for posting the image. I thought I had an image of another broadside conversion with missiles launching that had a better angle.

I really prefer the old style broadsides so a while back I did two different versions, one using the current/new broadside kits and some guns that I make for my website (link below in the sig)  The second one is using a regular crisis suit with the optional Irridium armor parts and rail guns that I 3d printed.

There's also these which were done by Israel Bojalil Sanchez using some of the same parts that I make.

It can really work with less bulky HRR and the more bulky Broadside model imo. Way better than the old Crisis body with bulky HRR bitz.

Your stuff is great but I don't think it mixes too well with the actual T'au designs from GW but the models from Bojalil Sanchez are just gorgeous. Without knowing the rules I just wouldn't know that the guns on the shoulders are supposed to be the actual main guns and the plasma on the hand just secondary which feels a bit odd. :biggrin.: (similar problem the Ghostkeel with the Fusion Collider has imo. It looks way more destructive than two Fusion Blaster shots (on average) ).

Unfortunately I don't have a broadside on hand at the moment, I sent mine off to be painted so I can't take any photos until it gets back. The body portion of the beam guns are almost the same the only difference is the length of the barrel and the long beam gun's body is about 4mm longer. Otherwise the height and width is the same so it could be mounted in the same fashion but it'd be longer overall as the barrel is about twice the length of the medium one.

I don't know if this will be much help but here's how the two compare next to each other.

It helps immensely, I have a shas o r'alai model at home equipped with the bottom most rifle and now I can get a sense of scale off of that.  I think your long beam rifles are going to be perfectly sized for use on XV9s as  pulse submunition rifles!
