Unsure as to my points total, I would like to keep it at or below 10,000 points; yes, that's a great deal of points. My problem is, most of what I have built is from 7th Ed., and earlier. I need to build some new WGPL's for my GH packs, with Combi-Plasma, and I am unsure of the best melee weapon option.

 

So, what changes should I make? Also, if any, why? I have three Wolf Priests with JP's and two Grey Hunter packs that I can drop if need be.

 

Advice please; Army Builder isn't up to date with the Space Wolves entries, and Battlescribe is new to me. I cannot seem to get the Lord of War choice of each Supreme Command into the entry within Battlescribe; any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can get a good bit of mileage if you have a unit or two of swiftclaws with an attack bike

I have SkyClaws packs, two currently. Lost one due to sunlight heat warping the third pack's bases. I learned that lesson fast, sigh.

 

Hm, I am in need of advice on the best way to use Swift Claws; the idea seems sound, I just personally think that flying wolves are wolves able to hunt in three dimensions, not only two.

 

So, as I do not have the Index in front of me right now, 9 or 10 Swift Claws, 1 attack bike, with two packs having that setup?

If your going bikers, you might as well go WG with storm bolters, IMO. Twice the shots (and more accurate), and you could even give a few SS in case of high AP attacks. I'm not a fan of *claws in general for 8e.

I prefer 3-5m Swift claws with Melta's thrown in because you can 20" and still shoot or 5 WG Bikers with stormbolters and storm shields
