what are you using as chaos spawn models?

I'm not the biggest fan of the GW chaos spawn.  Their not bad, but I would like some more options.  Anyone have any good proxy models out there?

I got the AoS crypt haunters or whatever they are called as a base, spawn are what to do with all your leftover bitz...

Kromlech's "Morbid Spawn" minis are what I went with to represent the Nurgle spawn attached to my warband.  I really dislike the generic GW spawn, and think the Kromlech design looks much more like something Papa Nurgle might have touched.

I was very tempted to use blight haulers (as a non deathguard player). Haven't seen them in the flesh yet but I'm starting to suspect they are significantly larger than spawn.

I use AoS Spirit Hosts. Although to be honest I'm not super please with Spawn in my game.

Here are my four spawn. Made from AoS Crypt Ghouls and bad dreams ;)

And individual shots (well, none of them are actually individuals...more `hideous amalgams of debauched fools`)Firstly, "The Kiss"

Third, "Human centipede"

Bloody blindfold...and the second face that gets scraped along the ground as the thing moves

And lastly, "Peekaboo"

A gaping mouth can be seen where there should be an arm on the lower torso. I think this one best shows what I wanted to do with the basing: having the grass of the Eldar maiden-world withering and dying before the tread of the Slaanesh daemons upon it.

I use the Warmachine/Hordes Argus models (two headed dogs). Makes a good "hunting pack" look to escort my Lord on steed.

Like many of you I made my spawn from various and sundry bitz.

I'd say just grab some greenstuff, glue, and raid your bitz box. Spawn are a bit like orks in that anything goes when creating them. Have fun!

Nice to know i'm not the only one to use warmahordes models in their chaos army, though the heavy warbeasts are too big for my tastes (I use my Typhon as a Giant Spawn) - I prefer using the Raek:
