Gentlemanloser
How on earth do we do it? Deep Strike is denied by cheap Ranger screening. So how do you face Reapers with -1 hit, 2+ save and 5+ FnP, before strats? Corvus Fortis
Only one pack of Reapers can get all this buffs per turn (and someone still compains rule of 1 is bad?). Only 1 soulburst per turn is also a great nerf for Ynnari. Now they are not near as scary as Craftworlds one. I faced them only onced an that was not the strongest list. Still it was very close draw - I was lucky with maelstrom and had littery 2 models of PA GK on the table. Reapers go down to bolters pretty fast. NDK shooting helps too. But the problem is they hide in transports on turn and now Rangers is perfect screen. But let's be honest here - we do not have chances against good list of Eldar. Not a slightest. GW so afraid to give GK something powerful, but 8\-2\3 that cannot suffer penalties for shooting is quite OK. Even our strongest lists have not a slightest chance against their competitive once. They are cheap, they are fast, they have a lot of strong spells, they can spam smite, they have stuped amount of strong shooting and not the worst durability too. The race literally has no downsides. If you want win them - take IG or SM allies. Never heard of pure GK winning competitive Eldar. And probably never will. Gentlemanloser
My SB barely scratch them. What with a 2+ save and FnP. Ynarri Reapers i find worse than craftworld. Just for the second shot through Word of the Phoenix. No need to be within 7", Yvraine just gives then a second shot. Craftworlds can use nasty stratagems, like board-wide intercept if near a Farseer. And Alaitoc gives them -1 to hit, if they are more than 12" from shooting unit. Reclusiarch Darius
Play a different army :^) On a more serious note, 'Astral Aim' on a Stormraven? Requires getting first turn because they probably kill it in one volley though. Gentlemanloser
Their flat D3 missiles ruin tanks. And always hit on 3+. Ugh. Or grab the landing pad for the MOST INTENSE TURRET! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343342-beating-castled-ynarri-dark-reapers/#findComment-4988053 Share on other sites
