Points cost - Stripped or Not Stipped

I think I've been doing points wrong.

Lets take the Whirlwind as an example.

 

Description says it comes with W.W. Vengence Launchers.

 

So when I go to points value, does that include the Vengence Launcher or not.

you will pay for the wargear you take, even if its in the included wargear section. notice on top of the chart with the unit values it'll say (wargear not included) or something like that. it will happen that from time to time some wargear will cost 0 points, mostly when its specific to a single unit

No you have to add points for everything separately now. Unless it states that it’s included. Think it says it on the top of the point tables.

If you are totaling points, then you take the points for the unit and add any wargear/equipment it has. Don't add points for gear that is replaced, or any of the like, only what it is actually going to be used in game.

 

In your example, the points value for the Whirlwind is just the chassis. You then add the cost of the Vengeance launcher for a total of 104 points.

 

If your Whirlwind had a Castellan launcher, it would cost you 95 points.
