Identifying all forums with unread posts?

Is there any way the "mark forum as read" icon sign could be made to appear next to sub-forums too?

Or maybe make the "green unread + sign" visible next to top-level forums too?

Example situation:
- One unread post under + Adeptus Astartes + / + Adeptus Astartes +
- One unread post under + Adeptus Astartes + / + Adeptus Astartes + / + Black Templar +

Current display:

• http://bolterandchainsword.com//public/style_images/carbon_red/f_icon.png + Adeptus Astartes +
  • + + Black Templar +

Expected display:

• http://bolterandchainsword.com//public/style_images/carbon_red/f_icon.png+ + Adeptus Astartes+
  • + + Black Templar +

or

• http://bolterandchainsword.com//public/style_images/carbon_red/f_icon.png + Adeptus Astartes+
  • + Black Templar +

Would changing the top-forum's class from "highlight_unread" to "highlight_unread unread" be possible (when applicable)? Would it actually work?

+ Edit: The idea is, I'd like it to be possible to know that the new posts marker next to x Chaos Space Marines x means that everything new is actually under Death Guard or Thousand Sons without having to waste my time opening the forum and realizing there's nothing I'm interested in...

Not with the current set up no, it may be something for the future update however.

It's something I'm aware of too, as I come across it relatively often (I have no interest in Nurgle/Death Guard). I'm not sure what the chances are in future updates but I'll look into it when we get there :tu:
