Since you have added Xenos subforums I have been motivated to paint more. So... below are some pictures of my work that I have done together with the Xenos community overhere. Let's start... 2nd / 3rd Edition Tyranids Army status as of 04/2017 Broodlord finished on 11/01/2018 Ripper Swarms finished on 11/01/2018 Screamer Killer Carnifex finished on 12/01/2018 Lictor finished on 12/01/2018 Spore Mines finished on 20/01/2018 Tyranid Warriors finished on 21/01/2018 Raveners finished on 23/01/2018 Gargoyles finished on 30/01/2018 Swarmlord finished on 31/01/2018 More models incoming: [ ] 2nd Edition Hive Tyrant to be converted into a Swarmlord [ ] 15 Gargoyles to be painted (half way there) [ + ] 8 Spore Mines[ + ] 2 Tyranid Warriors with Devourers (almost there)[ + ] 3 Raveners[ - ] 1 Warrior or 1 Lictor to have wings added - not sure if Im going with this now, probably going to look for an auction with an old Hive Tyrant to match the other one Edited January 31, 2018 by Zigmunth Calyptra, Calgar 2.0, deathspectersgt7 and 1 other 4 Back to top Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I might eventually repaint them brown to match the top of the base. We shall see ;) And... thanks :) I am now working on a Swarmlord conversion from a Tyranid Warrior: I will be adding Venomthrope back chimneys to him as well. Seems to me you have done it very well (Tyranids have changed a lot over time, so big deal) As for the green edge, it may be not the better choice, but its so retro I can't help myself from loving it! This guy looks much better. This guy is third in the queue. Before him I got three Raveners. First of them painted below. My favorites so far are the spore mines, funnily enough—there’s just something about their almost pastel tones that’s whimsical and unsettling. Keep it up!
