MasterDeath
Whoever you assign the wounds to. The split rule in my oppinion is a way to make Horrors way tougher than they should be, as you can basically assign one wound after another. Lets say you have a squad of 20 Horrors that takes, lets say 10 wounds. 1. First wound assigned to a Pink: 4++ and you fail. 2. You pay the points from your reserve and add two blues 3. you assign the next two wounds to the blues: two 5++, lets say you fail one 4. You pay the points from your reserve and add a brimstone 5. you assign the next two wounds to the blue and the brim: 5++ and 6++ and so forth. This way you can conserve your pinks longer with the disadvantage, that you will have a harder morale test later on. But of course you can remove brimstones or blues if you fail. One thing to keep in mind: Do not use this ability too excessive as it can really bog the game down. Kaspar
Thank you for the explanation! But an other example:Unit: 10 Pinks and 10 Brimstone Do the unit have one general invulnerable save??? Or must I decide first if I want to remove Pinks or Brimstones and use then 4++ or 6++??? shandwen
Model by model, not as an unit. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343451-invulnerable-save-pink-blue-horror-brimstone/#findComment-4985499 Share on other sites

The enemy rolls to hits, the enemy rolls to wounds, you select a model that takes the wound and then use that models invulnerable save. That's it. Wolf Lord Loki
I would make an exception with nominating models before rolling to wound if there are various toughness. Otherwise you might roll to wound on the toughest and remove the weakest Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343451-invulnerable-save-pink-blue-horror-brimstone/#findComment-4986497 Share on other sites

No houseruling needed ;) Commissar K. 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343451-invulnerable-save-pink-blue-horror-brimstone/#findComment-4986525 Share on other sites
