Something a little different: Fugaris' helm

So I don't think this is wildly unique or anything, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried this:

 

I'm thinking Termie Lord, Arch Contaminator (warlord), plus the re-roll 1's aura. Combi Plasma

 

Add in two units of Blightlords with combi melta in one, combi plas in the other, both with Blightlaunchers and a Flail. (Arch Contaminator has been very good to me with Launchers and Fails).

 

Finally... Fugaris' Helm to make sure I can use this in a wider aura of 9" and 10" respectively.

 

The idea being as the army advances, and the Cataphractii all drop in the placement would fall somewhere between the alpha strike and advancement of the main force. Hopefully this results in a 'sharing circle' of the multiple Auras.

 

This is just a thought as I wait for the Thousand Sons to drop, so I will probably try it next game (tonight/tomorrow).  Has anyone tried this or am I wasting Fugaris' Helm here?

Fugaris doesn't affect warlord traits. It says auras on the datasheet. It does work great for the chaos lord aura

Ah darn. Okay...

 

Well it still might work. I guess I can go with a different relic perhaps. (though a 9 inch aura is nice.)

I try to fit the Fugaris Helm in to every list as it is always useful on one character depending on what theme I am going for that game.
