Nicely done, a little too much red for my taste, but that's a smooth white you've got there.

Thanks, i wanted a touch more red to break up the white. The white is only 4 stages Drybrush dark brown over the black undercoat, screaming skull, 50/50 SS and offwhite, then off white. With a soft tone wash when needed.

Gotta say I agree with Pearson73, a little too much red for me as well, but very well done. Not adding chipping or battle damage?

The reason for the red will be shown when i get round to posting their fluff XD and chipping and damage will be done after ive added the decals i think.

27th Chapter 88th company "The Dismounted"

They specialise in infrantry operations such as tunnel fighting and bording actions seen as less honourable ways of war by their brothers. During the battle of terra  they were tasked with a flanking operation upon the Lionsgate starport. They moved their troops through the pitch black service tunnels and a flooded civilian shelter their autosense and monocromatic night vison systems giving them limited visability. It wasnt until they emerged from subteranian defence shelter that they realised it wasnt flooded with water but they had instead been wading through the blood of the civilian population who had taken shelter there. Their white armour stained red with innocent blood the 27th burst from access ways and cargo lifts to open a second dedicated front against the Emperors children, many of them eschewing their bolters to close in hand to hand. Now after the heresy as they chase the fleeing traitors from Earth veterance of this action wear move red detailing on their armour as a reminder of the civilian lives lost at the hands of the masochistic 3rd legion.

Great job, sarabando. I especially like the jagged red bit over the left eye. The white is very impressive as well (always a tough colour to paint).

Something that might be cool too, to extend your fluff, would be to put lots of purity seals and scrolls etc on your models - you can say they write the names of those fallen civilians on the scrolls as a further mark of remembrance and to fuel their vengeance
