Need help...

This year I sold my guard army to...buy another guard army. It sounds ridiculous but I was simply bored with my steel legion and felt it was time for a change and I’m much happier with the way my current build is going. This is the color scheme I want to paint my infantry...what I need help is what color should all my tanks be? I’m thinking just a regular green color with weathering and decals...

Looking good - its nice to see those old school models getting such nice treatment - takes me back to highschool.

One thing I would recommend is brown washes or inks to the skin and fatigues to bring out the creases and other features.

Weird that so many guys do only think of colors- but not the reason behind them.

Yes, one could start with the colors and then start thinking why they make sense.

Why not starting with the background?

From what kind of world does the army come from? Is it specialised on a certain environment? (Tallarn, Catachan, Krieg)

Does it make sense that local terrain and flora influenced equipment design? (Mordian and Pretorians are NOT). If so - is there anything special? (Krieg. Or maybe the plants on the homeworld have no chlorophyl)

Do they usually operate on their homeworld or anywhere else?

Any cultural impact? (Mordians)
