Breakthrough
Hi guys, I have 2 questions and hope you can help me . Actually I have: 30 MK3 Marines ( from Prospero Box) 30 MK4 Marines ( Calth Box ) 5 Tartaros Terminators 5 Cataphractii Terminators 2 Apothecarie ( glued with normal Backpack) 1 Leviathan 1 Deredreo with Autocannons and Havoc 1 Relic Contemptor with Havoc Launcher 2 Vindicator with Laser Destroyer 1 Vindicator with Battle Cannon 2 Rhinos What do ya think will that be a good start, or should I try to sell something? Second question is in what direction are your Lists going? The lasts I saw from you are heavy going on assault marines is that right? marine7312000
It really depends on what you feel like playing. You've got a great base for an army. You could run two 15 man tactical squads from the armor you prefer and then use the other set of armor to make some support characters\ squads. The armored options you have would take up all of the relevant slots on the force organization for each type. I feel like you would need a Praetor and be good. Most people are experimenting with the Day of Revelation ROW as its one of the only bits of BA rules that are available. Theredknight
Yes DOR supports jump infantry really, it’s all about jump packs I’m afraid. With what you have you could try..Day if sorrows and maybe get a transport raider for some termys. carlisimo
You’d have to start over if you wanted to run a Day of Revelations list, but you absolutely don’t have to. As Theredknight says, Day of Sorrows is an option - it looks like it’s based on the Blood Angels at the Siege of Terra. Its benefits just aren’t as good a fit with the other bonuses Blood Angels get. And there are plenty of good generic Rites of War you could use. Just keep in mind you’ll need to give most of those units transports. Pick whether you like tanks or drop pods and find a rite of war based on that.
