Ulrik_Ironfist
So, FW no longer makes a model for this vehicle, but it still exists in the IA index. Does anyone have any ideas on how to build one? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343978-salamander-scout-tank/ Share on other sites

Tirak
They can scout move and fill a fast attack requirement. They're not optimal by any stretch of the imagination but if you're running an armour force they visually fit better than Sentinels. walter h 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343978-salamander-scout-tank/#findComment-4999975 Share on other sites
Colonel Cross
The Salamander Command tank was pretty legit before CA. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343978-salamander-scout-tank/#findComment-5000100 Share on other sites

Colonel Cross
Chapter approved. It got a less than responsible price increase. I'd say the Salamander Command vehicle is no longer worth it. I'm sure it's still fine in your friendly game. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343978-salamander-scout-tank/#findComment-5000134 Share on other sites
Ulrik_Ironfist
So, basically, Hellhounds/Devil Dogs are a better take? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/343978-salamander-scout-tank/#findComment-5002082 Share on other sites
zero88
The fulfill different purposes. Hellhound variants have Excellent offensive capabilities and that's their purpose. Salamander's do not, and their price doesn't match their firepower. What they do is serve as Deep Strike denial units due to the scout move.. just like Scout Sentinels. Tirak
So, basically, Hellhounds/Devil Dogs are a better take? Hellhounds kill things good, Salamanders scout, but Sentinels also scout and are cheaper. So if you want to talk competitive, Salamanders are no good, but they are cool.
