almightyjesus55
So finally after a year of being gone from the hobby FW does it again. With the perfect Dorn model shown at the weekender the engine has started again. Sigismund is a very important character to any Fist player out there. A legendary warrior respected by many, yet imo FW's model doesn't do him justice. This pushed me to try and make the "perfect" Sigismund. So my first picture of this log will be my WIP Sigs. Oh and here's a pic of my army at LVO 2017. obsidian quacker, Bjorn Firewalker, Honda and 7 others 10 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344104-reawaken-the-phalanx-a-viith-log/ Share on other sites
Soldier of Dorn
Lovely work on that repose of Sigismund. Absolutely stupendous. I feel like I've seen your army before, likely in the pictures people were posting from LVO. Eager to see closer photos of the individual units. almightyjesus55 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344104-reawaken-the-phalanx-a-viith-log/#findComment-5003238 Share on other sites
Pearson73
Good work on the repose, that's a powerful stance you've achieved there. Looking forward to more updates and hopefully some close ups of your force. almightyjesus55 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344104-reawaken-the-phalanx-a-viith-log/#findComment-5003255 Share on other sites
Fire Golem
Sigi conversion is awesome, and your army looks very cool. almightyjesus55 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344104-reawaken-the-phalanx-a-viith-log/#findComment-5003256 Share on other sites
Bjorn Firewalker
Good job. Whose severed arm is Sigismund standing triumphantly upon? Some Bloodthirster he encountered during the Siege of the Imperial Palace? almightyjesus55 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344104-reawaken-the-phalanx-a-viith-log/#findComment-5003279 Share on other sites
almightyjesus55
First many thanks guys. Second that lovely arm adorning his base is from a traitorous Gal Vordak slain at the Siege. Third on to a quick update: Changed all the laurels to gold. Hope it lets him blend and fit in better next to Dorn. Bjorn Firewalker
Well done. His tabard looks filthy, but I understand he didn't have the time to properly clean it during the Siege- hell, all the dry cleaners were probably drafted and then ordered to man the wall. almightyjesus55 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344104-reawaken-the-phalanx-a-viith-log/#findComment-5003758 Share on other sites
almightyjesus55
Another update. Color Scheme I tried on my Templars is them trying to emulate Sigimund's tabard on their armor. Testing out a piece of tabard on my first Templar. Bjorn Firewalker
He looks impressive. I like the way the tabard flutters in the wind, though the resulting wrinkles will likely make the tabard a PAIN to paint. almightyjesus55 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344104-reawaken-the-phalanx-a-viith-log/#findComment-5004709 Share on other sites
