Aothaine
Hey everyone! I'm looking to start airbrushing for priming and painting most of my miniatures. I was curious if anyone knew of reliable and good guides for beginners. I usually use Youtube for most of my research but wanted to see if there was anyone that really stood out in reviewing airbrushes and someone that was really good at doing airbrush tutorials. I'm going to be working mostly with whites as I will be starting up a small force of Rift Stalkers. So I will be painting a lot of whites. But I also want to be able to do the plasma/eye lens/light glow effects as well. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I wanted to check anyway. If painting fine detail, like the trim on shoulder pads, do people still use the air brush? Or do they revert to brushes for fine detail? Firepower
I think BuyPainted and AwesomePaintJobs/LesBursleyMiniatures channels on youtube have basic tutorials somewhere. They also have more detailed amateur to advanced guides. Examples: There are a lot of very experienced painters here on the BnC who can offer any advice you need as well. I'm good with an airbrush, but not quite professional ;) Edited February 7, 2018 by Firepower Aothaine 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344227-airbrush-inquiries/#findComment-5005795 Share on other sites
