Primaris: What vehicles do they have access to?

I know that they can only use the special Primaris tank as a transport. But is there any verified docs that point out what type of armory the Primaris only chapters have access to?

But the Thunderhawk gunship can also transport primaris (doing so, it cannot transport other original astartes). It can carry 15 primaris models, so they count as having the bulk of a terminator.

Interesting there is no lore stating that they are using preadators in battle or vanquishers or anything like that? They have tech priests just for one type of tank and dreadnought?

I think the presumption is that in a Primaris-only Chapter, there are only Primaris Marines involved.  These dudes can't/won't/don't fit into Space Marine vehicles.  Logic demands that Space Marine vehicles are not in a Primaris-only Chapter.

Dark Imperium mentions the Overlord Dropship. It's described as a beefier Corvus Blackstar.

 

Outside of that... yeah Redemptors and Repulsors unfortunately.

I'm sure there'll be a Primaris Codex down the line that will beef up the line. They've already proven to be great sellers and they were really worried about them so wanted to dip their toes first.

Hopefully they aren't fully separated from regular Marine units like Predators, Sicarans, etc

Well they do have access to the following Vehicles I believe:

 

Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought

Primaris Repulsor

Thunderhawk Assault Gunship

 

Also of note, is that when you search Primaris on the GW website they also include the Killshot bundle with the three Predators. Not sure if that is on accident or not though.

 

Not sure what games would even allow you to bring the Thunderhawk though. It just seems super strong for most casual lists.

Ohh that is interesting considering the dude hanging out of the top is a primaris model lol! As it can transport Primaris though I'm including it in their line.

I think the Primaris keyword will vanish and that it only exists currently as transport limitation. That's literally the only purpose it serves.

 

In the future they'll probably gain access to Landraiders but anything smaller will remain separate with the previous marine Generation.

So assuming the Overlord is never making a tournament table ... one has to wonder what will be the “next thing” Primaris GW will be cash grabbing our dinero with? I’m thinking the Overlord is not feasible for the tabletop a smaller cousin to the Corvus Blackstar might be where we would like them to go next. In my heart though I believe some Primaris Grav version between the Landspeeder and the Custodes Jetbikes could be a real money maker.

Technically the only vehicles Primaris don't have access to are the regular Marine transports. No shame in running a Predator alongside Primaris infantry for example.

Technically true, yet in a Primaris only Chapter, the Predators are not crewed by Primaris, as far as we know.

Tricky if you're looking at "future proofing" your Marines isn't it. I'm assuming most if not all of future Marine releases will be Primaris.

 

I have a small Marine Force (MkIII armour) which I like but think I'm going to sell before I put lots of effort into painting them up. Then I'll replace them with a small Primaris only force to future proof and because I love the look and scale of the new models. I want to add some variety but what will be ok for Primaris going forward? Repulsor obviously but should I keep my Land Raider? Buy that Sicaran or Deredo I've been eyeing up?

 

I'd hate for them to not be usable in the near future (assuming having a Primaris only detachment gives some extra bonus or access to a chapter tactic)

I can see them stopping the creation of the smaller marine models but I really doubt that a hobby game is going to nullify all the old miniatures. There are too many people with thousands of dollars invested in the old miniature line. I think just blending the two together is the way to go and just have the newer releases all be primaris related. There was a section stating that some commanders are already enjoying the value of the Primaris marine as kind of point guard while they also enjoyed the specialist nature of tactical marines. Some interesting stuff.
