Hey guys,

So with the advent of Inquisitor Eisenhorn getting a model release, and his special rules leakage of him being able to summon demon hosts. Does anyone has any cool demon host model suggestions?

It’d need a pretty hefty conversion. Those electro-priests are horrendous

Remove backpack, halo and trim down the detail around the wrists. Fill in the front tabard and paint up as parchment, remove belly-mounted cog-skull and replace with purity seals. Skin is painted with hexes and the lightining representing arcing psychic energies.

A kitbash and GS work - it's a molehill not a mountain.

You can do a lot just with a paint job and just making the skin look so pale it's otherworldly.

Flagellant (particularly the stitched mouth head) body + crypt ghoul or zombie arms would probably work.

Wracks are a tiny way away from cenobytes. Leave of some fo the weird Dark Eldar-y back bits and you're some very light cutting and scraping away from something usable I reckon.

Hmmm.... usually I'd be inclined to just go at it for conversion purposes, but I'm a sucker for the fluff and Cherubael has a definite look. Anyone know how large the nightbringer or deciever are compared to human models? They have that floating on chains/scrolls look and resemble unclothed humanoids so there's some potential converting purposes.  I may even convert that cultist model with the knife and shirtless torso.  The hardest part for me seems to be how to get him floating.

Ah my apologies!  I wasn't critiquing your daemonhost, which is great by the way! Its got a hulking menace that I like, what were the parts you used?  I was just thinking how best to convert the character.

It used the dear form Wood Elf Cavalry, Admech Techpriest Dominantus and Kataphtons, Genestealer Rending Claws, the Head Piece from a Tyranid Monster, the actual head from a Seraphon/Saurus Warrior, Black Templar upgrade sprew shoulder pads and finally a Hellblaster Plasmagun. Edited by Schlitzaf

I'm more of a fan of using a more daemon based model. I'll be using valkea the bloody for now. Not really sure what changes (if any) I'll make to the base model, but I like the idea of inquisitors using someone they trust as the host to help keep the darmon at Bay.

I needed Yvrainne for an Order Famulous conversion I'm working on for my Inquisitorial Warband (among every other unit's conversions that is) so I was stuck ordering the Ynnead three-character box, so I'm rather tempted to use this guy and some Daemonnette bits to make something Slaaneshi:

so I'm rather tempted to use this guy

...and exactly what part of that figure said "guy" to you?  :tongue.:

Half the chest is flat and masculine (just like Slaanesh seems to like) so that's my excuse. :p

The Stormcast flying dudes from the AoS boxed set are held up by rune covered scroll thingies. If your conversion is mainly light materials (plastic/resin) they can probably be grafted on pretty easily and shaped to give that look of hovering unnaturally, and being from a starter box are hopefully not that hard or expensive to score.

So I forgot to post this Saturday but I threw together a quick model with some bits I had.  The head is very out of proportion but until an official model is made available again I'm happy with my efforts.

A fellow forum user suggested this and honrstly it's pretty perfect!

By the Throne, is that the level Forge World painters have sunk to?  It looks like they found those in the second-hand bin.

On topic though, the ,model would make a suitable Cherubael, if you get some model ship chain.

Shot was taken when she was still work in progress, if people want to see it I'll take a finished photo when she's at home, Its a raging hero's model not sure what its supposed to be but it came in a box set with two models that I wanted for my Sisters / Inquisition .

She's a raging hero's model, from  3 pack that I bought mainly for the female Inquisitor counts as and sisters of battle Apothecary type model as I hate the old ones.
