Like a lot of people, I decided to start a new legion for the year. I have White Scars, so I decided to go in an entirely different direction. I thought that the idea of a bunch of militia holding the line with some artillery while the World Eaters come on the flanks. I welcome all comments and criticism.

The Ally detachment gives up zero points and won't break and run. The Medusa's at S10 can deal with most vehicles and instant kills Custodes if need be. The Comm Array allows me to reroll my reserve rolls.

I have always like the idea of sacrificial offering and struggled to make it work. I would perhaps look at getting larger levy squads 40 dudes even behind the defence line isn’t a huge amount of bodies to soak up the punishment until the legion arrives. I think it’s cool you have taken a punisher and nice to see a change from that norm. Perhaps look at swapping out the Leviathan for a contemptor maybe a Cortus given the legion and then spend the points left over on a few more melita bodies. Overall looks like a fun list with plenty of character.
