General Strike
So, I have two pots of the Gw gold layer paints, and they have both separated completely. I've only had them for about 8 months, both sealed and unused, but the one is split between an orange color and metallic white, and the other is bright yellow and metallic white. I tried shaking the pot like I always do, but for longer, and then tried using a brush to actually mix it, but they won't come back together. Any advice or do I have to ditch two pots of paint? battle captain corpus
You should be able to revive them but it will require a lot of stirring and shaking. It's not uncommon and quickly rectified. Of course if you have a receipt etc GW will probably swap them as a goodwill gesture. General Strike
Thanks! I sat shaking it through an entire episode of Highlander and it mixed through that much shaking. battle captain corpus 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344493-layer-paints-separating/#findComment-5013044 Share on other sites
Razblood
I'm guessing they're Gehennas Gold and Auric Armour Gold as they are a bugger for separating, best advice is to drop a couple of glass or hematite beads in the pots as this will make it much easier to bring them back.
