Kinda hoping John French answers (not sure if he's a board member)...but what do you guys think?

 

When I saw this clip on Youtube, it immediately reminded me of the excellently written fight scene in Templar.

idk about that in particular but i’ve previously drawn parallels between “hero” and 30/40k. they’re not immediately obvious...but they are there

doesn't it? it's a beautifully rendered argument in favour of chinese authoritarianism. the rebellious hero eventually gives in to the idea of an emperor, going so far as to die for this new found realisation.

i don’t so much get that, though there is a little han Chinese influence in the WS

 

but things like watching all hundreds of courtiers practically worshipping the soon to be emperor and the heroes beating back entire armies puts me in mind of primarchs and setting
