What type of regiment would you put Hellhounds in?

Would you consider a Hellhound part of an Armored regiment or would you consider it infantry support and put it in an infantry regiment?  I've been putting off numbering my Hellhounds because I can't decide where they go.  I went with Sentinels as infantry support FWIW.

Seriously, that’s the answer. Hellhounds belong to the group of support that goes in nearly any regiment if the Departmento Munitorium decides they need it.

Yeah, either. There are fluff reasons to go either way. Maybe the rest of your force could inform the decision? 

 

Like, my (mostly still theoretical) guys are modelled or will be modelled to represent a specific PDF Battalion/Company at a specific moment in time, performing a specific role, so all the armour is drafted in to support the infantry defending Battery 30 and Battery 35 and is accordingly from a different Battalion/Company.

OK.  That makes sense and makes it easier.  I would imagine that Sentinels would be the same way.  I'll model these to my line infantry since I use them the most.  Thanks!

Hellhounds work best in regiments that are very mobile so standard Mechanized Infantry is a really good place to have some
