Dantay VI
Which tank offers better versatility to the legionnes astartes. The Falchion or the Stormblade with the giant plasma cannon? Will be running wolves which will be pretty infantry heavy. What are your experiences with these tanks? Warhead01
I had a similar thought to this. But after looking at the stats. I don't know if the storm Blade is what I want. It had 9 hull points I think the other has 12 hull points. It's a difficult choice. Memento Of Prospero
The Falchion is the superior choice, as D weapons are hard to come by for the Legions and game changing. Stormblade could be a cool addition further down the road. Noserenda
The Stormblade is a much cooler tank i think but the Falchion _vastly_ more effective in game Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344783-stormblade-or-falchion/#findComment-5020020 Share on other sites
Lord Blackwood
I prefer the Falchion I think its a better workhorse tank. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344783-stormblade-or-falchion/#findComment-5020029 Share on other sites
Fangbanger
Is D really that good in heresy?? I've not used it (yet) but feel it's so random that generally it will perform ok, but every now and again will be OP or achieve nothing...?? Memento Of Prospero
It's the ability to cause instant death and multiple wounds that makes it glorious. It bypasses the defenses of quite a few innately tough targets. Mango Polo
The Falchion can also be upgraded to neuter enemy vehicles with Shock Pulse. Overall a pretty solid super heavy if you get to field it. Noserenda
Strength D is an awful mechanic but an extremely effective one! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344783-stormblade-or-falchion/#findComment-5022763 Share on other sites
james71989
I run a falchion in my death guard legion, almost always makes its points back and more. Great against Spartans and other super heavies that can be hard to crack open Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344783-stormblade-or-falchion/#findComment-5022774 Share on other sites
