Ekfud
Vow complete - 2x scout sniper squads with primer & light grey coat I'm mucking around with a camo pattern for these - using some khorne red to give a subtle blood angels + urban flavour. Nuln oil wash seems to knock a lot of the contrast out, but kind of need it to give shadow. Although guess the whole point of camo is to be a bit subtle... Xenith
So I picked up DI last night, I'll be looking at vowing either the intercessors from there, or some tac squads for my 4th Co.
Majkhel
Vow complete - 2x scout sniper squads with primer & light grey coat Congratulations Ekfund! Overall camo looks pretty nice. I especially like it on the rifles. You might try applying the wash into the recesses only if you are afraid of muting the outcome too much. Being an airsfot player I'm of course (just a little :P ) hyped on all things camo and yet I'm struggling in devising my own camo-schemes. I'm tempted to steal your idea of adding red to urban camo if you don't mind.

BluejayJunior
I like him too paladin what did you use for the sling? If you're talking about the bolter slung over the shoulder, it's one of the parts in the Intercessor kit. An awesome part! Edit: Paladin beat me to it. Success will bring honour to the Blood Angels whilst failure is not an option... You're going full flamer squad. I've been considering that as a group to charge forward in a rhino. I feel, though, that a full flamer dev squad is also an option. Finally, I may put a min tac squad with combi flamer and heavy flamer in a rhino with an Lt. That would give me an option to rush forward or deploy to counter back-field threats. Great pledge!

Dont-Be-Haten
I DBH, first of his name, rise to the troops challenge of Blood and Zeal and vow to build 1 squad of Scout Marines with Bolters, a heavy bolter for a PL of 4 on or before 2359 UTC March 5th, 2018. Success will bring honour to the Blood Angels whilst failure is not an option... I will be using respirator heads as a swap, with a few minor other changes. Swapping bolters, adding some assault blades for looks etc. Hoping to get this finished tonight/tomorrow morning. Just not enough time to do everything I want. Mcrat
I Mcrat rise to the Troops challenge of Blood & Zeal and vow to build 1 unit of 5 Intercessors for a combined total of 5 PL on or before 2359 UTC March 5th, 2018. Success will bring honour to the Blood Angels, whilst failure is not an option... Vow complete! Only modifications to the DI set was to carve off the molded shoulder pads to replace them with BA ones, and add a little flair to the sergeant's backpack. Edit* Forgot, I also carved off the sergeant's wrist and magnetised it to allow for future chainswords/power swords.

Majkhel
My vow also completed: Both squads:First squad:Second squad:Now the changes I've made are as follows:1. Sergeants:- head swaps (SG and BA Upgrade sprues),- skull on the chestplates remodelled to blood drops,- Bolters on straps (originally on right arms) moved to left arm and back respectively, - chainswords (DC and Veterans sprues) added (some hand cutting/adjustments here),- extended pistol magazine added to the hand grip,- shoulder pads added from DC, BA Upgrade and Veterans sprues2. Marines:- Shoulder pads added for each with BA iconography (DC, BA Upgrade, BA Primais Upgrade sprues),- lots of daggers added from SG, BA Upgrade, SW and original Primaris sprues,- 3 helmets swaps (DC and Veterans sprues),- 3 backpack swaps (DC sprue),- 1 bayonet conversion,- lots of devotional trinkets added (BA Upgrade and BA Primaris Upgrade sprues)- few sights swaps/add ons as box-fed bolt rifles had none, and few long ones added in place of the standard onesI generally kept the sickle magazines with just a few rifles sporting box magazines which I simply like a lot :) I'm especially happy with the blood drop conversion on the chest plates and extended magazine for the bolt pistol on the sergeant. Spyros
I Spyros rise to the Troops challenge of Blood & Zeal and vow to build a 5-man Intercessor squad for a combined total of 5 PL on or before 2359 UTC March 5th, 2018. Success will bring honour to the Blood Angels, whilst failure is not an option... Then, a humble vow for HQ stratagem that was upheld (not that I had any other suitable model), now, a humble vow for the Troops stratagem, again no other choice (or time to be honest). Vow upheld! This is my first Primaris models assembled, they will be part of a 10-man squad. Here is the "assistant" squad leader, the sergeant will have a chainsword and the mandatory banner! I added tiny bits from the BA Tactical box here and there to add a bit of Blood Angels flavor since this was from a box without the BA upgrade sprue. Does this count for the conversion bonus?
