Ruinstorm (HH#46)/Fate of the Traitor legions' homeworld

Thinking on it (and maybe I'm reading too much into this), these are also all tests Horus failed, in a way (even if False Gods never showed that to us properly):

Guilliman has to overcome his reliance on logic and accept that Chaos isn't logical, that there is an inherent wrongness about it and its tools. Horus sees only the power it can give, without thinking of how it may corrupt him.

Sanguinius has to let go of his obsession with the future, to accept that he can (maybe) master his own destiny. Horus sees visions of the Emperor's ascension to godhood and takes them as absolute truth.

Lion has to set aside his pride and arrogance, to trust in his brothers rather than being certain he is always right. Horus was sure he knew better, and was willing to plunge into war with his brothers and father rather than talk to them.
