Sawtooth
Have people had success using the infiltrate stratagem with Fulgurites as Stygies? I had planded to get going on my army and I love electro priests. I assume it's best to spend the points to send in something else choppy to help them out. Do corpuscari work for this or are they better left sprinting up the board with the rest of the army. Apologies if I butchered their names. I'm pretty new with this army, I just really love electro priests and want to use them. Prot
I’ve never used Stygies other than test games when the codex was being previewed but I also love the priests. I use them wi5h Mars... and wrath of Mars Strategem. I do know some people who do that though...with Stygies and have had very decent results. Frostglaive
Well, when a 20 man blob of them causes most of my opponents to feel like they're going to lose if they don't die turn 1, I'd say they do pretty well Battybattybats 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344898-stygies-electro-priest-inquiry/#findComment-5023220 Share on other sites
anarchistscourge
They draw an obscene amount of firepower when they infiltrate in blobs of 20. I have yet to actually get their 3++ because my opponent always sinks so much into them Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/344898-stygies-electro-priest-inquiry/#findComment-5023403 Share on other sites
Xisor
My gut (not played experience) says that it'd be worth applying more Command Points to have multiple infiltrating squads. Monolithic things turning up on your door step seem to worry people and attract too much attention. Several monoliths, and people think they're just regular hordes. (IMO - I'm tempted to look at Stygies or Lucius for Assault Kastellan detachments - but two squads of two, thereby being a significant chunk of force in a very challenging proximity, but not so overwhelming that the opponent feels absolutely compelled to neutralise them.) Sawtooth
How do corpuscari perform for you? Fulgurites seem very straightforward for me, these guys not so much. I had planned to maybe infiltrate some punchy Kastellans with the Fulgurites, I'm not sure about corpuscari priests, though.
