So sadly not a lot of action from the Custodes thus far in the Apocalypse.

 

However, the Coronus tanked the combined fire power of two twin turbo lasers (one Warhound & one Reaver), a Preator missile tank, and a squad of Deathwing before finally succumbing to some other Militarum missiles. Not to mention the first Turbo laser is mistakenly didn't take my invuln against.

 

And then a Callidus Assassin appeared behind Cawl (our Warmaster) and the Shield Captain heroically intervenes to slay it.

In terms of Custodes, their speed and resilience let us capture a key objective late game - with the bikes zooming onto it and surviving 3 Knights worth of firepower (plus some other bits) along with some Guardians to contest it (and, if the game had carried on had some shenanigans to pull to really claim it). Not to mention a Vexilla managing to bring down all of my Allarus to 3" away from a nasty squad of Deathwing that they quickly deleted in one round of combat and also chipped a few wounds from a hiding Librarian with their grenade launchers and the Stratagem. The bikes also dealt with another Deathwing Squad that had been softened up with some Ad Mech shooting previously.
