Agreed. It is a sexy b-b-b-beast.

Yes it is available. Thanks to the Chapter Approved price drop, it is also in very nice place when considering power level. If you have one, you should use it. If you don't have one, you should consider acquiring one.

Many of my lists feature a Fire Raptor these days. Best in the anti-infantry loadout in my opinion; Quad HBs.

 

Requires some tact however, important not to fly it into shooting buff heavy zones or it will be shot down fast. Circle the flanks and pick away at the hapless ground pounders.

Thanks for the advice. This is pretty interesting. I wonder how it would work in conjunction with Heldrakes. Take a flyer wing with two heldrakes and a Fire Raptor and charge the Heldrakes into enemy flyers or anti-vehicle ranged units and use the Fire Drake for cover fire. Then you teleport in your other smashy units and have a back line of corrupted imperial guard. Could be pretty fun.
