Trying to decide what chapter to make.

Normally I play chaos but I want to have some additional forces I can use to play with my kids. I have a number of horus heresy, primaris marines and regular space marine models unbuilt I also have a Roboute Gulliman when I got cyupher in the 3 set.

 

I am torn between the following.

 

1. Praetors of Ultramar

I would paint them gold with blue shoulder pads, blue capes, blue for sargent helms, keep white for veterans. Not much is know. About them else than they are ultramarines descended primaris marines made at the end of the indominatus crusade and help protect the realm of ultramar. I think maybe one of the battle companies could follow Gulliman around acting as body guards.

 

2. Knights of Terra

This is a chapter made up of individuals of various descent either from chapters that were almost decimated or individuals who volunteered. The chapter follows Guilliman around as body guards. They have given up all chapter heraldry and instead just have a black imperial eagle. Thier armor is gold. I have not decided between blue or red for capes and sargent helms as of yet. This would be a mixture of both primaris and regular space marines. They would have a number of older marks of power armor and terminator suits given to them to protect Gulliman with.

 

3. I could do both. About a company worth of each supplement with scouts and 1st company squads.

 

I would also plan to add a small contingent of Adeptus Custodes and sisters of silence who uneasily work with them.
