depthcharge12
So I wanted to add some Death Guard to my SoH in a shattered legion list, however, I cannot take creeping death in it. My way around this is, could I take a creeping death DG allied detachment with a regular AoD SoH main Detachment? Creeping death doesn’t allow you to take an allied detachment, but does that preclude taking it as an ally? blackoption
I'll double check my rule book, but I am pretty certain that rites like the death guards creeping death are only available to the primary detachment. 1ncarnadine
It's absolutely precluded, as it's one of the Book VI Legion-specific rites. There's a foreword section in both Book VI and the LA:AoDAL that mentions this. “The following Rites of War are specific to the Legion indicated and may only be taken by a Primary Detachment with the correlating version of the Legiones Astartes special rule.” Excerpt From: Forge World. “The Horus Heresy Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List iPad.” Games Workshop, 2016. iBooks. depthcharge12 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/345367-legion-allies-question/#findComment-5039909 Share on other sites
