TempestBlade Posted March 24, 2018 Share Posted March 24, 2018 Has anyone tried out the stalker before? I was flipping through the codex and it looks pretty good on paper. For just over 100 points you get 6 str 7 ap-1 dmg 2 shots that against FLY units hits on 2s. A lot of things have FLY now too. Mostly all Tau stuff (suits and tanks), lots of eldar/druhkari stuff, flyers etc. I face a lot of Tau and Eldar so that sparked me to start thinking about it. Helycon Posted March 24, 2018 Share Posted March 24, 2018 Due to its penalty when shooting at things that don't have fly, it's easy for opponents to stay out of the way of it. With their fly-units. A venerable dead with autocannons doesn't suffer this fate and is therefore more flexible and can even make use of Grim Resolve. Since it's a heavy weapon, moving makes this slightly worse.
