Sacristans?

Is anyone else hoping for Sacristan models in the new Imperial Knight Codex, or just me?

 

Since Forgebane was announced I was thinking of using "normal" Admech to represent Sacristans, since I like the idea of having their supporting forces represented, but I would prefer the real thing.

I dont think so, since there are no other units to open up a detachment for them.

In the last codec didn't it say that tech priest were called Sacristans,so skitarii,would simply serve the priest in the maintaining of the machine spirit of the Knight?.

I'd hope Sacristans could repair more wounds on a Knight.

 

Maybe it's Techpriests on floating platforms as seen in the great artwork of our most recent codex? The extra height could explain the better repairing, being able to reach high locations of damage.

 

And if made to fit into a Knight codex they might be classed as a Lord Of War.

 

I don't know what the chance is, but I'd love it.

I chose to represent Sacristans and Household Guard using the Adeptus Mechanicus/Skitarii army lists.

I am hoping that the new Codex gives us some support elements. I'd like to see an HQ Techpriest Engineseer with the Household Keyword who can repair more than 1 wound on a Knight. I'd also like to see Tempestus Scions as Household Guard troops to provide some infantry support, Troops and objective holders to the list. Those two things would make me very happy.
