Too bad they left out all the interesting bits. Like for example that the DnD guys thought that Games Workshop is a big company in europe (internet wasn't really a thing at that time) and Games Workshop thought that the DnD guys are a big deal in the US so that's why they got/made the deal which in return enabled Games Workshop do grow and fund something like Warhammer in the first place. ^^

It reminds me of an old anecdote about an old millionaire who was sharing his success story with his grandchild.  "So one day when I was poor I was walking on the road and found an apple.  I washed and sold it.  With the money I've made I bought two apples.  I've washed them and sold them.  Then I met your grandma who was a daughter of a millionaire and married her."
