Gallian's Staff + Empyric Channelling

I've been very impressed with both Mephiston and the Librarian dread in my games and it makes me wonder if adding a third librarian would be competitive to make use of Empyric Channelling for casting an additional power with +2 to cast.

 

With Gallians Staff the third librarian would cast smite with +3 to cast! Super smiting on an 8+. I've found the ability to dish out mortal wounds gets stronger as the game drags on.

 

What do you guys think? Viable?

Depends on what other relics you want to use. The third relic will cost you an additional 2CP and you usually already want the captains jumppack relic and the standard of sacrifice or Veritas Vitae.

Also spamming smite will become quite a bit harder once the beta rules go official anyway.
