Deathwalker
Does anybody use them, and what kind of success or failure have you had with them? Last time I was playing, they did not exist soo just looking to see what the community has to say about them. Also a question about them, Say I have X guys in a imperial bunker with a captain, do they get their rerolls or at they counted as embarked so no aura for you? If he is outside the bunker, do they get the reroll, or no aura in that case either? Cheers! Aothaine
About the aura, they don't from what I've been told in either case you presented. If you are using just the walls that is different. If you are using something like a Bastion then no. Fortifications are really really cool. I have seen almost no one use them and am working on a list that makes use of some. They allow you to deploy forward without too much concern for safety but they are very expensive. Prohibitively so for most lists. I'm building an Astra Militarum & Inquisition list that is using a Bastion for my 4 Vindicare assassins. Gives them better los as you can draw los from any part of the model. Also, something else you can do is use the gun batteries to block firing lanes or protect control points in your back line. I really like them. I find it very strange that more people do not use them. Jolemai
Don't you have to deploy them in your deployment zone? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/345608-fortifications/#findComment-5042577 Share on other sites
