Caustic63
I'm considering including one of the Tribune models in my Thousand Sons army, but the rules seem to contradict each other. On one hand, the legion rules for the Thousand Sons Praetor make it mandatory that they be bought at least one level of psychic mastery. On the other hand, the Tribune's rules state that it must be used as listed and cannot be given any additional upgrades. Which rule supercedes the other in this case? My feelings are that since the Tribune uses the LA (Thousand Sons) rule its forced to obey its restrictions. What do you think? Mango Polo
As usual, the various Legiones Astartes peculiarities may result in certain options not being possible. The Tribune is a no-go for Thousand Sons. Or you go with the angle that a Tribune Praetor is not The Praetor, and thus exempt from this rule (but still not eligible to buy psychic mastery). But then he cannot be your Warlord. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/346161-thousand-sons-praetor-tribune/#findComment-5054509 Share on other sites
shamsael
The Thousand Sons MUST give their Praetors 1 to 3 Mastery levels. Does that requirement apply to Praetor Tribunes, which are a different unit? I always assumed it does not apply. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/346161-thousand-sons-praetor-tribune/#findComment-5077401 Share on other sites
