Ovidius Incertus
So I just moved house and am finally getting my hobby station set up with expanded space, which is a good thing. Much of my desk(s) is organized via Hobbyzone products, but I think I need a solution for my airbrushes and especially the hose. What do you do/use to tame your airbrush hoses when not in use (short of disconnecting them) and organize/store your airbrushes? My compressor sits on the floor, where it will stay, and relatively out of the way of my feet, but I already see the hose getting tangled, not to mention the cord soup. Semper Fortis
I use a recoil hose. It doesn't have enough tension to affect airbrush use, but coils itself neatly out of the way when I put the airbrush in its holder. Works well. NovemberIX
I tend to store my airbrush and compressor in an Ikea storage cabinet/shelf unit when not in use, and on the table when I'm spraying. I have an Iwata ninja that has it's own holster and the hose is pre-coiled so it doesn't take up much room. Taking some ideas from the body shop though, maybe using wall mounted hooks to keep the hose organized and out of the way? Or like some sorta table mounted holster for the air brush to sit in securely when in intermittent use, I suppose it'll depend on how much space you have, how much you want airbrushing available to you, or how much work space you need.
