Hatarus
Hi this is my first time posting in the Ork thread (please don't eat me) i wanted to talk about my Ork forces and maybe get some advice on how to play/paint them going forward as well as give a little background to how i got started and to them to see if it's Orky enough so sorry if this is a bit boring you can skip it if you want. How i got into themNow to start my Orks where originally nothing more then a bit of Background Fluff for my main army (Imperial Guard) and where talked about as the main threat to the world Icarus VIII and they stayed like that for a long while, However back in January i decided i wanted to start to get better at painting so after careful thinking i choose Orks my local LGS had two Spare four man (Ork?) Boxes from Fantasy that no one was buying so i got both of them along with two four Man (Ork?) boxes for 40K and got to painting them and really enjoyed it. For the first time since i started painting 40K i didn't have shakes, no anxiety or Panic attacks it was just a nice bit of painting. To give you an idea of the Orks i've painted i'll post a few examples but you should be able to view the whole gallery here i'm not sure how much advice you guys can give off the Album but i have really been considering running them in at least one small local Tournament just for a laugh i know that a Greentide is a option i'm just not sure how it works or if there is a better choice for what i have right now One of Two Warbossesand these guys are the first batch i ever paitned Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/346366-the-greenskin-scourge-of-icarus-viii/ Share on other sites
