stuka06
Hey everyone, I'm building 2 squads of Legion Veteran Tacticals. I want to be able to use them in various loadouts. I have enough Combiweapons for eveyone and bought Legion Seeker Bolters to equip everyone, because the left hand grip looked to be about the same, when in fact they aren't. I wanted to have magnets in the hands of the weapons and the right arms, so I can just "lay" each different weapon in the right hand. Now, with the difference in height on the weapon kits, the hand would be to high if I glued it for the Bolters. My new idea is to magnetize the left arm as well, so I can "swivel" it. Maybe there's a better option that I'm not seeing right now. Major_Gilbear
Although you'll need another set of right arms, you could glue the gun to the right hand and magnetise the whole arm at the shoulder. The left arm would remain fixed. That way, each right arm and weapon can be positioned to suit the left. Arminius_Warbringer
I magnetized the hand and wrist or the weapon to fist, and then use slightly larger magnets to make the shoulder and torso magnetized. I use 1/16 x 1/32 on weapons and 3/32 x 1/16 in the wrist or fist. I then use 3mm x 1mm on the arm and shoulder. The 3/32 size will work on the shoulder and torso but the slightly larger 3mm x 1mm is easy to find in large packs at cheaper prices online. They also make a stronger bond and hold better. You can also use the 1/32 x 1/16 on heads to make head swaps for sgts and vox radio operators. My praetor for 30k has a helmet and bare head for it. So I hope this helps.
