Still undecided if and what to run for the ETL

 

Has anyone used the the FW Death Guard Terminator Torsi in conjunction with the new Blightlord / DG Terminators yet?

The Deathshroud are more massive and I read the new Termies are not entirely easy to kitbash...but I like the old FW stuff and would really like to use those...

nothing stopping you, but they're a completely different scale, no longer in 28mm heroic

Well, there's the Anvils of Konor blog on Facebook which shows that with careful work, the two sets can be combined. It doesn't look like easy conversions, though, that's for sure.

Given the amount of work involved, I probably won't use these in my considerations amount joining the ETL (late).

But they are just too stylishly just to waste away in my bitsbox. Looks like another long term project - or I might consider chaosifying some Gravewardens.Those should be roughly the same size. Unless FW decides to take those from the Site, too :(
