Frostglaive
Does anyone know of any miniature lines that could be a good alternative to the Tau models? I love their rules but hate their models. So I'm trying to find a way to play Tau without actually using Tau. Any suggestions?
Guest Triszin
Van Saar's. Hightech feel, human yet advanced design. why not grab a box of vansaars and firewarriros and mix the squads and make some unique stuff?
Panzer
It would help to know what exactly you don't like about the T'au models. ^^
01RTB01
I picked up a predastore stalking hunter for my shaper. Other than kroot being updated I think we're quite lucky with the range.
MithrilForge
Well, you could try puppetswar for conversion bits, but as panzy said, what is it you don't like about their aesthetic?... what are YOU looking to want to do?.... like did you want to go get some idoneth Deepkin fishmen and give em guns!... etc etc Cheers, Mithril
walter h
If it's just the heads I would suggest puppetswar,as well, but if it's not the heads I wouldn't have a clue. What you could use.

Do you not like the all the aesthetics so you want completely new models or do you want to go down the conversion route? Have a look here for some options. walter h
True. One of our frater has considered a faction allied with ,Tau. The frater uses puppetswar heads ,and Tau, bodies, and legs. The premise being they purchase Hammerheads, and Devilfish, and use their own weaponry from Anvil I believe. Frostglaive ,might check out the Liber, and see if this might be interesting .
