From a rules perspective in terms of the deathwatch the regular primaris captian seems objectively better in most cases. Halandaar Posted May 9, 2018 Share Posted May 9, 2018 Personal speculation; it's not modular so you can't give it a Deathwatch shoulderpad, and that's the only reason it can't be taken. From what little I can make out in preview video, Plasma Pistol and Power Fist is an option for the Primaris Watch Captain.
