General Strike Posted May 10, 2018 Share Posted May 10, 2018 So, this is my first W.I.P. thread, and plan to use it to get advice and keep motivated. I have jumped around in 40k a lot, starting with some marines and not really enjoying that, and have a big pile that I have been selling through. It seems for me, there is a big difference between loving the fluff and loving painting the models. The most fun that I have ever had was building and painting my Knights. I recently purchased a Knight Crusader off of ebay for a big savings, but the paintjob was messy and thick, and the rapid fire battle cannon arm is a broken mess. That big white goop blob is the super glue that they poured inside the broken connector, it went all the way down into the inside of the thermal cannon. I need to get my hands on an actual camera, and move the photos to my computer and edit them so that they aren't gigantic and potato quality. I plan to add some detail to my two Knight Armigers, and completely fix and repaint my Crusader, then I will order some decals and put them on them. I need to sell of my lot of Custodes, and some Nurgle Daemons that have built up, then I will use those funds for another Knight, and plan to get the new Knights when they drop. With the leaked Rogue Trader stuff, and my unpainted Inquisitors waiting for me, I may make a House Guard for my Knights and a Inquisitor retinue to order them about.
